After much delay marketing week has begun! There have been quotes said that marketing effort on any game should be 30-50% of total time and budget to ensure success. The week has started with finishing some research and preparing in depth marketing plans. I finally got around to taking notes on this talk from Emmy Jonassen (indiegamegirl.com) on marketing for Indie Game developers. It’s well worth watching if you are an app or game developer new to marketing. Some quick take homes from this:
